About the Role

  • Responsible for the delivery of plant specific KPI’s including uptime, cost, MTBF, MTTR and other leading indicators
  • Proactively implement and sustain the McCain maintenance excellence program
  • Lead and manage the condition inspection, lubrication and MDI for Maintenance functions within the maintenance department
  • Create and update maintenance procedures and standard work related to maintaining plant equipment
  • Ensure effective use and upkeep of the SAP, MicroStrategy and other CMMS systems
  • About You

  • A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, ideally in a food or FMCG manufacturing facility
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification - NZ Trade Certificate / NZQA Level 4 or above (or verified equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of condition inspection techniques and test equipment
  • Ability to develop and execute reliability improvement strategies and plans
  • An innovative and practical approach to problem solving and the ability to initiate action
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, SAP or similar and MicroStrategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and interpersonal skills and ability to influence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Safety, Quality (HACCP, GMP & Internal Auditing), Warehouse Management & Environmental Management systems
