About the Role
Responsible for the delivery of plant specific KPI’s including uptime, cost, MTBF, MTTR and other leading indicators
Proactively implement and sustain the McCain maintenance excellence program
Lead and manage the condition inspection, lubrication and MDI for Maintenance functions within the maintenance department
Create and update maintenance procedures and standard work related to maintaining plant equipment
Ensure effective use and upkeep of the SAP, MicroStrategy and other CMMS systems
A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, ideally in a food or FMCG manufacturing facility
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification - NZ Trade Certificate / NZQA Level 4 or above (or verified equivalent)
Strong knowledge and experience of condition inspection techniques and test equipment
Ability to develop and execute reliability improvement strategies and plans
An innovative and practical approach to problem solving and the ability to initiate action
Computer literacy in MS Office, SAP or similar and MicroStrategy.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and interpersonal skills and ability to influence
Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Safety, Quality (HACCP, GMP & Internal Auditing), Warehouse Management & Environmental Management systems
