The Selwyn Foundation needs a full-time Caregiver for it's Selwyn Park Whangarei village.
As a Caregiver, you will work closely with our residents to ensure daily personal care responsibilities, cleaning and assisting with medication administration are met in accordance with individual lifestyle care plans and enhancing the quality of life for our elders.

You will have minimum 12 months NZ working experience in support work to "hit the ground running" and have strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in order to interact with residents from all walks of life.
Honest and reliable, you will pride yourself on your work and have reliable transport. You must also be eligible to work in New Zealand and any health care qualifications will be desirable.
The current vacant shift is 75 hours a fortnight :
Monday to Thursday 2300-0700 and Sunday 2300-0700
Selwyn Park Village, Whangarei, is set in park-like grounds seven kilometres from Whangarei city centre and is surrounded by grasslands, with mature trees and a native bush backdrop.
