  • What will your typical day look like? As a Project Controller you will be supporting some of our most significant projects through successful management of key financial and project controls.

    You will work alongside project managers and partners to support key matters including : - Project engagement setup processes- Offshore Inter-firm commercial agreements and related logistics- Timesheet & expense management and reconciliation- Financial reporting and analysis (e.

    g. weekly actuals vs forecast budget tracking, profitability, variances and other relevant analysis)- Monthly outgoing client invoices and processing incoming contractor / inter-firm invoices- Staff & contractor timesheet management and analysis- Contract management administration- Internal project risk, issue and quality management- General project engagement documentation and administration About the team Deloitte’s Consulting team are delivering a growing number of business and technology change projects across New Zealand.

    Enough about us, let’s talk about you To be successful in this role you will have a passion for collaborative working across multiple project teams to support good practice project controls and financial disciplines.

    Your skills which set you apart from the crowd : · Collaborative working style and can-do attitude · A good understanding of accounting and finance disciplines· Strong attention to detail including good communication and presentation skills· Intermediate-to-advanced level of Microsoft Office skills (particularly MS Excel formulas and financial reporting)· Comfortable working to deadlines and going the extra mile where necessary to achieve goals· Experience in summarising results and producing reports· Good skills in solving problems, making decisions, and resolving conflicts · Willingness and ability to travel domestically Next Steps Sound like the sort of role you looking for?
