We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us in the development of nurses, nursing practice and the wider workforce.
The successful candidate will be based within the Professional Development Team of Mental Health & ARHOP within People and Professional Development here at CMH.
The area of focus for this role is strongly aligned to CMH Mental Health & Addictions services and the successful candidate will be providing Nursing Education and Professional Development support.
They will also be coordinating the training programme of Safe Practice & Effective Communication (SPEC) specifically for staff working in MH.
This unique role offers opportunity for a registered nurse to work alongside the team to further embed Restraint Minimisation for MH Services.
Our nurses are committed to examining and improving the quality of care delivered and thus we are looking for an individual who has a special interest and / or expertise in this area.
You will work within a team who have primary responsibility to provide expertise and support in facilitating assessment, planning and delivery of professional development activities for staff within and across service clusters and the wider health community, including connecting with the community localities in collaboration with colleagues.
