Investigation and analysis of the enhancement or incident and proposal of potential solutions to best meet business requirements
Management of stakeholders’ expectations and proactive communication with stakeholders
Working collaboratively with developers and test engineers to resolve the enhancement or incident
Communicating or escalating problems as appropriate
Suggesting opportunities for improvement as an outcome of analysis
Design solutions, based on requirements provided, within agreed timescales including :
Ensuring full understanding of the requirement through effective communication and information
gathering from relevant stakeholders and colleagues.
Delivering solution recommendations within agreed timescales.
Participation in after-hours support roster as required to ensure successful solution delivery.
Carrying out change and release management to the required standards.
Resolving allocated Production Incidents as effectively and efficiently
Ensure ongoing review of skills and capabilities and proactively discuss personal development with your manager.
Engage in the Agile / Lean process and suggest alternatives or promote positive change at every opportunity.
Offer and or promote alternative technical solutions to Business problems.
Skill / Competency Requirements :
LIFE / 400 design and development experience
Strong Life Insurance domain knowledge
Good knowledge of AS / 400, RPG, COBOL / 400, CL / 400 and SMART / 400 technologies
Previous work experience in Agile environment
Essential LIFE / 400 Experience
Preferred Knowledge about ANZ Life Insurance Market
