About the role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Food Services Manager to lead our dedicated kitchen and cafe teams. We want to ensure residents have a great dining experience that includes nutritious meals served by friendly and capable teams.
This is a multi-site role that includes both our Highlands and Edgewater Villages.
The key to success in this role is to ensure our friendly Kitchen and Cafe teams are preparing and serving high quality, well-presented, nutritious food to our residents in the village, and to the visitors that come to our cafe.
Reporting to the Village Manager Highlands the key accountability includes :

Skills & experience required
We seek an inspirational leader who has worked in a hospitality management role for at least 3 years. Being responsible for both kitchen and café P&L with a focus on growing revenues, we are looking for someone with strong financial acumen.
The successful candidate will utilise their team building and leadership skills to train, develop and lead the team, while fostering a great culture and environment where residents will be proud to bring their guests.
Impeccable interpersonal skills and presentation are required, as is having a mature and friendly approach to engage residents.
The ideal candidate is an experienced chef that is currently managing a successful commercial operation.
Although you will work closely with the Village Manager, this role has a high degree of autonomy to drive the business forward and will be also be supported by the Food and Beverage Advisor.
