About the Role
Ward 3 Surgical is a 54-bed specialist surgery ward covering Acute and Elective Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial areas.
As our Ward Administration Officer, you will be carrying out administrative and reception duties and providing essential support for the Ward’s clinical staff.
Your main duties will include reception, answering phones, assisting with co-ordination of patient flow, arranging outpatient bookings and ensuring all patients clinical records are available and prepared correctly.
You will be required to work from 3.30pm 7.30pm on 3 weekdays per week (exact days negotiable) plus 8 am 4.30 pm on a Sunday.
Extra hours to provide cover for leave may also be available.

You’ll have a friendly and welcoming nature and be comfortable interacting with patients both in person and on the phone.
