Executive Assistant to the General Manager Health, Safety and SecurityWellington

  • Key role in the Health, Safety and Security team Te āhuatunga a te tūranga / About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join us and provide support to our General Manager Health, Safety and Security.
  • You will report directly to the General Manager and play a key role as part of the Health, Safety and Security team.We're looking for a good operator here, someone who is organised, well connected, flexible and remains calm under pressure. In this role, you will :

  • Provide administrative and secretariat services including diary, meetings and travel management and accounts processing
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across the CDS group and with colleagues across the wider Ministry and justice sector
  • Be an effective team player, chipping in where required to support our collaborative teamIn return you'll work as part of an awesome team and for a leader who truly cares for her people.
  • You'll make great connections across the Ministry and with sector partners and gain exposure to large projects and events delivered out of the HSS team.

  • Relevant secretarial qualification or proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders in a medium to large-size organisation - experience in a large, complex operational business group would be an advantage
  • High degree of computer literacy and competency working with a wide range of computer-based secretarial, administrative and presentation applications.
  • Such as email software, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to stay calm under pressure
