The Role

As our Systems Lead, you’ll be an invaluable and highly visible member of the Assurity team, responsible for maintaining and improving our computer systems, data, hardware, and security to ensure that our branch systems run smoothly and we operate in a secure environment.

Leading the management and support of our technical business systems, this is a role that is full of variety as you work closely with key business stakeholders to implement updates and collaborate with our vendor partners on new modules and upgrades while managing integrations.

We are a small team and we are looking for someone who is willing to take on a broad hands on role, some of your other key responsibilities will be :

  • Troubleshooting software and technical issues and managing escalation to suppliers.
  • Running training sessions on systems and processes.
  • Developing new reports and datasets
  • Running our internal systems support helpdesk
  • Project managing regular Workday system and integration upgrades
  • Managing all security configuration and profiles across hardware and software
  • Manage hardware purchases, upgrades, and support via our relationships with our outsourced suppliers
  • About you

    We are looking for a Systems Lead with technical aptitude and a passion for working with business systems. Ideally you will have experience from a Level 2 help desk role with reporting responsibilities or a similar Reporting Analyst role, you will also be comfortable running projects and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.

  • Experience in working in a corporate environment with application management and configuration skills
  • Relevant degree or tertiary qualification (IT, Technology, Testing) or equivalent experience would be desirable
  • Ability to learn and understand difficult concepts quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good report writing and data query experience
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Sound interpersonal skills
