Our Planning and Engineering team are responsible for maintaining 4,000 kilometres of rail corridor, 1787 bridges, 100 tunnels, over 12,000 culverts, overhead wires, signals and level crossings.

Your Role :
We are seeking two Water Engineers to join our Planning & Engineering team. The roles can be based in either Auckland or Wellington, and we are looking for both Intermediate and Senior Level Engineers.
You'll be responsible for working with and / or leading the development of design and maintenance solutions for railway infrastructure civil water assets.
This includes coastal and river protection, and rail infrastructure drainage including surface and piped assets across New Zealand.
Your Skills :
You'll be a degree qualified Civil Engineer, with hand's on expertise in civil water projects. Your expertise will be in design and delivery of drainage, hydrology and hydraulics flood modelling for coastal and river water assets.
You'll have stellar communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
