  • You will be joining a portfolio management team and this large group of project professionals who plan, oversee and lead large and complex projects.

    We need two people to join us to support Portfolio management teams and assist them to successfully deliver to time, cost and quality parameters on programmes and projects.

    Your focus will be on supporting leaders and collaborating across the organisation, using effective project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

    They will rely on you to support portfolios of work delivered in a matrix environment. There will be times when you will have the opportunity to take the lead yourself on the delivery of small projects within Waka Kotahi.

    This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment and you will be kept busy providing advice, coordinating meetings, contributing to risk management processes and ensuring the programmes are on track.

    We are interested in talking further about your knowledge, skills and experience in :

  • the coordination of a complex business focused portfolio of projects or programmes
  • effective engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • multitasking and time-management
  • working to tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Visio
