As a member of the rapidly growing Privacy, Ethics and Compliance Team at Workday, you will help build and manage programs designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our customers' most sensitive data.

The Technology Risk and Compliance Program Manager is an important part of Workday’s Privacy, Ethics and Compliance (PEC) function.

This position is responsible for ensuring that company practices, policies and processes are performed in accordance with contractual and compliance requirements.

In this role you will leverage your program management experience to drive key compliance initiatives, support and advise teams across Workday on risk, and work in cross-

functional partnership to help ensure those requirements are met.

The Technology Risk and Compliance Program Manager will also interface with Workday's independent third party auditors, partner implementers, vendors, and Workday customers in association with contractual and regulatory projects.

Skills and Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in an equivalent technology risk and compliance related role
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Software as a Service, particularly risk models and controls related to these services;
  • familiarity with industry compliance standards such as ISO27001, ISO27017, ISO27018, SOC1 (SSAE18), SOC2, NIST, and IRAP

  • Experience influencing and coordinating multiple complex projects to meet key project milestones, with the ability to reprioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong executive presence with the capability to speak articulately to technical and operational processes
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated program / project management experience; ability to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral
  • Proven ability to think critically while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Organized, responsive, and able to gain support and consensus with cross-functional stakeholders
  • BA or BS degree
  • PMP certification a strong plus
  • Responsibilities :

  • Program manage compliance projects across multiple teams
  • Articulate compliance goals and initiatives effectively to gain buy-in, trust, and collaboration from internal executives, product teams, and operations teams
  • Manage communications with third parties, including customers, partners and vendors, regarding Workday’s operational processes and key controls
  • Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and training materials to support Workday's compliance initiatives
  • Review new product features to determine impact to compliance programs
