Mount Albert, AucklandNgā Wai a Te Tūī, Māori and Indigenous Research Centre is a multi-disciplinary kaupapa Māori research team at Te Whare Wānanga o Wairaka, Unitec.
Established in February 2019, Ngā Wai a Te Tūī aims to lead transformative and innovative Māori and Indigenous research which contributes to te puna mātauranga and Te Whare Wānanga o Wairaka and wider communities.
Through collaborative partnerships, Ngā Wai a Te Tūī engages in multi-disciplinary kaupapa Māori research that seeks to advance and respond to contemporary issues within society that supports the flourishing of whānau, hapū, iwi, marae and Māori communities.
In this role you will provide high quality leadership and management to the Director, Ngā Wai a Te Tūī and the Principal Investigators to develop operational systems that support the research project goals and contracted responsibilities.
The Research Manager will ensure delivery of accurate and timely research programme management, financial and administrative infrastructure advice and support, oversight of reporting, and planning advice for the research teams, partners and key stakeholders.
The deliverables of each research project will require implementation of the tools and management systems developed by the research teams.
This role will also have a leadership responsibility to supervise and manage the operations and administration of Ngā Wai a Te Tūī, having an oversight of the Centre's administration processes and research project management.
