Auckland City, AucklandPermanentThis is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator, or someone with experience in scheduling or rostering.

You will be someone who is bright, outgoing and thrives in an environment that is busy and fast paced. As a Scheduler you will provide call centre and email booking support for the Border Clearance Service Inspectors, by responding to stakeholder requests for inspection and audit bookings by phone and email, data entry, reconciliation, follow up and administrative support.

You will also provide and manage pre inspection / audit bookings and logistical support to the team. Along with this you will act as stakeholder / client liaison, providing advice and clarification for border clearance directions.

Key responsibilities include : Telephone and email booking services for cargo inspections and enquiries.Management of planner database and understanding the Auckland roster.

Compilation of inspectors daily job sheets, providing updates on changes to inspections during the day.Phone and logistical support for on road Quarantine Inspectors.

Redistribution and prioritisation of resources to cover sick leave and delegation of officers to other worksites.Provide advice and clarification of border clearance direction and assist stakeholders and clients.

Support other team members.Produce and maintain relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Auckland Operations team.

What you will need to demonstrate : Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.Strong planning skills, with the ability to think on your feet when required.

Strong attention to detail.Proactive approach.Strong communications skills, written and oral.Ability to learn quickly and develop appropriate skills to allocate resources in a dynamic environment.

Willingness to adapt to changing demands and use of appropriate tools to enhance team work.We are looking for a team player, who is resilient, and motivated, with sound judgment and initiative.
