    Build your career delivering transformational environmental projects while learning from leading technical environmental, contaminated land, ecology, sustainability, and related environmental and planning experts.

    This role will enable you to take the next step in your career, building your technical understanding, working with clients, and leading projects that shape our taiao.

    You will play a key role in our Central region environmental services team where you will be delivering projects primarily across the lower half of the North Island, as well as further afield.

    You will be joining a team known for our ability to provide high quality environmental consulting advice to a diverse range of clients such as the New Zealand Defence Force, Kāinga Ora and Waka Kotahi, among others.

    You will have plenty of scope for success in this role, with significant career development opportunities. We will provide you with exposure to complex projects and clients, give you the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and work in a nationwide environmental practice.

    In this role you will be part of a team of experts, working closely with our Community Shaping team which includes ecologists, landscape architects and planners delivering projects for clients and the wider business.

    You will bring with you :

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline, with experience in the assessment and management of contaminated sites
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displayed by your ability to work with colleagues, clients, and contractors
  • A high level of written skills, including a demonstrated ability to undertake scientific investigations, analysis and reporting
  • Experience in working with emerging contaminants and / or asbestos in soils is desirable
  • Ideally CEnvP (Contaminated Land) certified or activity working towards this
