    The details : Permanent, Full-time (80 hours per fortnight)

    About the Service :

    The COVID Call Centre Administration Team specialises in providing outstanding customer service to a diverse range of people of varying cultural backgrounds.

    The aim is to deliver on our promise to provide the highest service to our community.

    About the role :

    The position of Covid Administrator Team Leader offers attractive hours of work and a supportive environment from other team leaders.

    The Team Leader has the responsibility to ensure that the call centre team provide a professional and effective service to the public, to implement the Ministry of Health COVID-19 vaccination programme.

    This role is also responsible in ensuring that the centre is appropriately staffed at all times.

    Required skills & experience :

    Demonstrating a curious and enquiring mind-set, which will allow you to deliver meaningful results; we are looking for a candidate with strong people management and leadership skills, great communication and team building skills, a calm demeanour showing resilience under pressure, and ability to handle change in the workplace.

    Someone who places People at Heart with a commitment to delivering patient and whanau focused service and who :

  • has excellent time management;
  • exhibits effective communication;
  • has excellent interpersonal skills and supportive attitude;
  • demonstrates prioritisation and problem solving skills;
  • advanced computer skills (MS office) software and data base packages;
  • experience in a similar role managing a diverse team is preferred;
  • the ability to manage operational responsiveness of an extremely busy service delivery function;
  • is able to continually monitor, review and identify opportunity for improved capability
