Join the Fletcher Infrastructure team as the Temporary Works Engineer, responsible for planning, organising and ensuring all technical and engineering aspects of Temporary Works.
Working with the design and construction team ensuring project objectives and milestones are met, whilst maintaining high performance standards in safety, environmental and quality.
Manage the interfaces between all temporary work packages and retain an overview of the full scope of works.
Effectively support the project teams regarding TW design, construction maintenance and dismantling.
Provide technical support, review contract documents and understand drawings / specifications, ensure clear communication to site staff.
Design safe, practical, innovative and economical temporary works through a collaborative approach, ensuring designs are checked as required.
Maintain knowledge of relevant structural analysis software and design packages to assist in performing daily tasks.
About You :
Proven experience working in a structural design role
Must hold a BE in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant design or contracting experience
Knowledge of temporary works construction practices and constructability innovation techniques
Engineering design experience relevant to temporary works solutions
Proven knowledge of AutoCAD essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A self-driven approach with strong time-management
Clear, concise and efficient technical writing skills
Demonstrated experience with ground engineering technique
Ability to engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
