What would you be doing?
You will be a key component in the growth strategy of our Tax Pooling Solutions team, responsible for establishing new relationships in the South Island region by utilising your strong networks.
This role will be based out of our Christchurch office, however you could be based in a different location - with the desire to travel and flex your schedule in alignment with client & business needs.
As leaders in tax pooling, PwC always delivers the best outcomes to suit our clients unique needs, whether our client contact is an in-house accountant, a business owner or another tax agent.
This role is the first of it’s kind based outside of Auckland, and as a result, a great opportunity to really make it your own! It also has huge career development potential, not only in a business development capacity but within PwC and everything it has to offer.
Your key tasks will include :
Generating leads via your own network & attending client meetings with prospective clients to increase market share in the South Island
Becoming a subject matter expert in Tax Pooling Solutions
Working alongside our Business Development Manager to contribute to PwC’s Tax Pooling Solutions growth objectives
Analysing client needs and identifying alternative and / or additional PwC products and services to suit client needs
Building and maintaining internal and external relationships
Domestic travel as required.
What are we looking for?
Prior experience working within the professional services environment or with an Accounting service provider
You will be results driven, outcome focussed and not afraid to step outside of your comfort zone to win in the market
Experience as an end user of a tax pooling intermediary - highly desirable but not essential
Proven success in a sales or business development capacity
Strong stakeholder relationship skills
Effective verbal & written communication
Motivated by sales targets and the desire to contribute to PwC’s growth objectives
Must be committed to travel on an ongoing basis around the South Island as required
