  • About the Role

    This is a rare opportunity to join our team in this unique position - While you will cover and look after some of our key trade clients, you will also closely with our Area Trade Manager to assist with the coaching, training and mentoring of the Sales Representatives across the area.

    Specific duties include :

  • Building lasting business relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify & develop strategic customer base to retain strong relationships with our trade clients
  • Coaching and supporting a large sales team across the area (South, East & some central Auckland) to maximise our trade customer experience
  • Developing and driving of sales and marketing strategies
  • Developing and maintaining a structured itinerary
  • Liaising with our in store Trade Specialists to ensure our key clients are well looked after
  • Skills & Experience

    To be successful in this role you will have proven sales and account management experience and ideally demonstrate experience where you have coached and mentored others.

    You will be working on the trade side of our business dealing with experienced automotive trades professionals, so experience or an interest in the automotive industry is essential.

    Building relationships will come naturally to you, as well as the ability to work across a diverse team.

  • A strong background in delivering exceptional above-market growth
  • Strong commercial acumen, numerical literacy and ability to develop and implement strategic business plans and managing price effectively.
  • Ideally experience in leading, coaching and managing staff
  • Ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve results and deliver on key business initiatives
