About the Role
Working as part of a small team of system support engineers you'll use your technical skills and knowledge to provide clients with Level 3 technical support whilst managing client projects.
You will have outstanding communication skills, an ability to develop trusting relationships with all stakeholders and a desire to collaboratively mentor team members.
Key responsibilities will include :
Develop a trusting relationship with clients and internal staff
Timely resolution of escalated 3rd level technical incidents
Identify, manage and lead escalations; support others with same
Create innovative solutions to meet complex client IT infrastructure needs
Ensure documentation; configuration management entries are up to date and accurate
Implement complex IT solutions within project time frames
Proactively identify solutions to prevent or minimise complex issues
Clearly communicate with all stakeholders
To be successful for this role you must have the following :
10+ year experience working with; VMware, HPE / x86 servers, Storage - general skills, Switching / routing
Some firewalls skills would be good too
Certification in one or more of the above technologies
Project experience; Managed Services or Professional Services environment
Ability to work effectively as part of a broader diverse team
