ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate for the role of Document Controller, will be well organised, have a high attention to detail, and is willing to do a little of everything in a vibrant and growing organisation.

You will be a strong team player with a flexible approach to your work and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to achieve common goals.

You will work well under pressure and approach your work with an enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering the best results for the team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review project documents and prepare a compliance deliverables matrix listing all non-building deliverables
  • Provide schedules of non-Building deliverable requirements and draw up any warranties for the procurement of subcontracts
  • Request, track and review all non-building deliverables and documents required for Territorial Authority Compliance and Contractual Practical Completion requirements.
  • Assist the project manager to arrange the compliance deliverables matrix into the order we intend to construct the project
  • Support the project teams (when required) to request from stakeholder's quality assurance check sheets, test results, third party inspection results, samples, and documents, and file any documentation ensuring matrix is kept up to date
  • Ensure the Quality team is notified of failed third party inspections.
  • Load Directives and Defects from third party inspections to Defects & Site Observation Register
  • Assist Project team manage and close out directives from third part inspections
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience or knowledge in Building & Construction would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong MS Office suite expertise
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn and develop new systems quickly
