About thisrole :

We are recruiting an experienced Poururuku to join ourTokokauneke Development team at our head office, Te Puna Mātauranga, based inTe Awamutu.

Reporting to the Tumukauneke ExecutiveDirector, Development, the PoururukuAkorauwill work alongside digital experts and trainers to lead andproject manage the design and digitisation of existing programmes to ane-platform.

Theprimary purpose of the Poururuku Akorau is to lead, design and project manage allprogramme digitisation projects on the Akorau (online) platform.

The Poururuku Akorau is the overarchingsubject matter expert on Akorau, and designs and approves all final courses forthe wāhanga.

You will utilise your e-platform subject matter expertiseto design existing face to face delivery to an online digitised format.

An understanding of teaching pedagogy and theability to connect across all levels of the organisation.

Critically, the role blendsboth technical and pedagogical skill sets. It builds knowledge of digital technologiesfor and in teaching and learning (pedagogical focus) and to developunderstanding of teaching and learning which will encourage better design,development, deployment and evaluation of such technologies (technical focus).

The ability tomanage multiple projects to ensure course programmes align to strategicobjectives on budget and on time is essential.

Aboutyou :

You will have proven project and people management capability and a high-levelof programme and resource development and design.

You will also :

  • Have a Master’sdegree in Te Reo Māori / Te Panekiretanga
  • Have demonstrated capabilityleading and developing teams;
  • Be an engaging, collaborativemanager that supports achievement of organisational targets;
  • Have excellent written andinterpersonal communication skills;
  • Highly proficient at building andmanaging external relationships;
