About the role
We have an exciting position within the QC Laboratory for a Team Leader to lead our Afternoon Shift. The hours of work will be 3.30pm to 11.30pm.
The prime focus of this role will be to lead the afternoon shift team who are responsible for carrying out Quality Control activities in accordance with DML's specifications and test methods and in compliance with cGMP / cGLP.
You will work closely with the other Quality Control Team Leaders to ensure work is scheduled and completed within the desired timeframes.
Monitoring team outputs ensuring work is of a high standard with respect to accuracy and completeness and in adherence with cGMP and training and development of staff including assessment of training needs are also key.
Our QC Team Leader will also be required to work in QC Production. This is to assist in the containment suite for sampling and to sign off on sampling room cleaning.

This is a great opportunity for leader who has a high level of instrumentation skills (HPLC, GC, NIR) and competence in modern analytical chemistry techniques, proven leadership experience, tertiary qualification in Chemistry (BSc or equivalent) with proven background in pharmaceutical QC or prior experience in GLP / GMP laboratories.
