Job Description

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly organized Quarries and Services Administrator to join our administration team in Gisborne and deliver the good work we’re known for.

What you’ll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a highly demanding administrative role. You will have various responsibilities including :

  • Processing and reconciling of quarry dockets into the JDE accounting system.
  • Providing administration assistance to support Managers, Supervisors and staff from the Quarry Services division.
  • Driving adherence to deadlines, managing the sales process and streamlining file management systems.
  • Communication with quarry clients where appropriate.
  • Manage resource consent systems CS-Vue in line with industry practices.
  • Manage Loadrite system.
  • What we need from you

  • 3-5 years mid to senior level office experience essential.
  • Advanced data entry skills essential.
  • Ability to work independently and within the wider administrative team while managing your own tasks and workload.
  • High attention to detail, highly motivated and a champion of driving adherence to meeting corporate deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and up skill with good supportive training.
  • Experience or familiar with the Loadrite system preferred.
  • Experience or familiar with CS-Vue Management resource consent systems an advantage.
  • General accounting knowledge preferred.
  • Familiar with general office systems.
  • Experience with Oracle JD Edwards Accounting systems an advantage.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office packages especially Excel and Word.
  • Full drivers license
