The Events Services team has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic people to join our Event Logistics and AV casuals team to join the University as part of the Commercial Services team.
This is a role with variable hours, when we get busy we will call you! Evening and weekend work will be required along with flexibility across shifts.
Hourly rate is $20ph.In these roles, you will gain event experience as you complete deliveries and provide logistics and operations support for faculties and departments across the University.
If you have an aptitude for Sound, Lighting or AV we would like to hear from you!To be successful in this position, you will have experience in a similar role, be self-motivated, flexible and able to take initiative.
A great attitude and you will have great interpersonal skills which will assist you as you interact with stakeholders across the University.
You will also need a high level of physical fitness as heavy lifting and equipment set up / pack down are a key part of this role.
This is a casual, as required position with at least 3 hours work available per shift, there may be more hours dependent on the work required.
Reporting to the Venue Services Manager, your main responsibilities will include : Event set ups and pack outs, clearing event spaces.
Assisting with all aspects of equipment delivery and logistics supportSupport with keeping storage spaces clean and tidyAV set ups and pack downsYou will need a full clean driver's license and preferably your own steel cap boots.
