Planners, Intermediate & Senior (Auckland)
Te kāinga rua The opportunity Join our passionate Auckland Planning team, becoming part of a Planning business respected and known for their ability to provide high quality planning and environmental consulting advice to a diverse range of clients.
You will have scope to work across a broad range of clients, such as Watercare, Auckland Council, NZ Defence Force, Auckland Transport, Waka Kotahi, Kāinga Ora, local authorities, and leading industrial and manufacturing clients.
You will be able to bring your passion for planning and motivation to deliver for our clients within a collaborative, team based, and people focused team.
You will have the scope to become a trusted advisor to our clients and respected for working collaboratively on projects with others in complementary disciplines and professions, with the ability to work with a vast range of associated technical experts to help with delivering great client outcomes and projects.
In this role, you will have plenty of scope for success with wide exposure to complex projects and clients, providing you with extensive career and professional development opportunities.
We have multiple roles available, which could be shaped for an Intermediate or Senior Planner, to match your career aspirations, and therefore welcome applicants from a broad range of backgrounds.

You will need to have a thorough knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991, with strengths in statutory and strategic planning.
This position requires excellent communication skills and a broad understanding of a range of disciplines related to planning matters.
You will also need to have the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the general public. You will have a tertiary qualification in planning and be a full member of the NZPI or working towards this.
We have flexibility to shape the role around you, depending on your level of experience.
