Established in 1954 our client is a pioneer in the New Zealand food industry. Still family owned they can boast year on year growth and currently employ more than 525 staff nationally.

With new sites purchased further growth is on the horizon.

On their behalf we are recruiting for a fully licensed NZ industrial Electrician, for their afternoon shift; who will check, maintain and program their new manufacturing plant.

Some of the hardware used on this site; 3 Phase conveyor motors, DC Roller Conveyors, Photo Eyes, Air operated sorting gates, Colour sorting sensors, fixed wired appliances, Emergency stop buttons and pull cords, Sirens and beacons, Local control stations and Cable support systems.

A, Allen Bradley SCADA system was developed for the overall view, operation and monitoring of the plant.

About you :

  • Ideally at least 3 + years industry experience with servicing highspeed processing equipment
  • Preference for those who have worked in a food manufacturing or process plant (or packaging)
  • Trade Certificate with a Full Current Electrical NZ Practicing License
  • Advanced problem solving & diagnostic skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent communication and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Able to work Shift work 2pm 11 : 30pm and some occasional over time on Saturdays ( Paid well)
