Role / Job Title : Test Engineer :
Short Description : Work on a variety of critical client engagements with some of Infosys largest and most successful clients in New Zealand.

Roles and Responsibilities :
E2E testing of client’s products / desktop and mobile application to ensure successful client business with zero defect delivery, this includes
Requirement analysis and understanding
Test planning, preparation and review
Test Execution and status updates in Test Management tools like ALM, VSTS , Jira etc.
Daily and weekly status reporting, Test Summary Report
Automation of progression and regression test cases using latest tools like Selenium, Appium for test automation of Mobile applications, Sauce labs for cross browser testing
Content management and user experience testing using AEM (Adobe experience manager)
API testing using POSTMAN, SOAP, REST.
Skill / Competency Requirements : Essential :
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
Telco Domain : Minimum 3 years of experience in Telecom OSS / BSS testing
Testing Methodology : Minimum 3 years of experience in Agile projects. Must have knowledge of scrum practices, scrum ceremonies, Kanban, feature driven development.
Test Case Preparation : Understanding the requirements from business and domain perspective and able to write complex functional / non-functional test cases, prepares RTM for the same.
Review test cases with stakeholders.
Test Environment Setup : Receives setup instructions on infrastructure, data & software, plans and completes set up, prepares scripts (SQL etc.
to create test data as required and populates test data in order to ensure commencement of test execution.
Run sanity suites on environment to test environment stability.
Test execution :
Participates in test execution of key modules in order to identify defects in the application
Participate in defect triage, daily and weekly status meetings
Must have experience in content management testing using AEM (Adobe experience manager), Mobile application testing, API testing using POSTMAN.
Must have expertise in CRM, OM, Single view and other Telecom domain related COTS products
Participate in UAT and production deployments.
Test Automation :
Understands the test cases / scenarios, designs and develops medium to complex scripts
Must have experience in automation tools like Selenium using Java, GITHub, Cucumber , Automation testing of Mobile application using Appium , Cross browser testing using Sauce Lab
Validates the test script, seeks reviews from lead and updates accordingly in order to commence test execution
Skill / Competency Requirements : Preferred :
Requirements Analysis : participates in meetings with onsite personnel / clients as the case may be to understand the functional and non-functional requirements
Transition : participate in Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions, conduct shadow support in order to complete transition
Sound understanding of telecom OSS / BSS, CRM, Adobe Experience Manager, Mobile App Testing
