Stack covers; Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, DataPower, Subversion, and Git to name a few.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this position is to ensure that the developing environment provides developers with the necessary server space, tools and permissions to support them in their day-to-day operations.
You will be expected to establish a scalable and flexible environment, manage various applications tools, capacity planning and more.
You will have the opportunity to work with bleeding-edge technologies in the future which include Git, AWS, Jenkins, DevOps practice, etc.
Work closely with Developers, Testers, Release Analysts, Architects and Security teams to ensure direction, compliance, and deliverables are being met.
Communicate with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Produce quality documentation to support and the design and development process.
Identify current problems / risks and escalate as appropriate.
Previous experience working in a large, enterprise-sized organisation helping facilitate non-production environments, applications, and change requests for both BAU and Project work.
Experience working with WebLogic and Subversion (or similar) is a must including sound shell scripting or development skills.
Sound technical writing and documentation skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
Proven track recording troubleshooting and monitoring development environments with a sound understanding of middleware and integration components.
Previous experience with Java / JEE would be beneficial.
