Pact is currently looking for a permanent Community Support Worker for our youth service in Invercargill.
The Role
We are looking for someone with a passion to work alongside youth clients recovering from mental illness. You must be understanding, observant, non-judgemental and easily adaptable to a dynamic environment.
We are seeking someone who will inspire, be a role model have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate resilience, integrity and professionalism.
Your role will include promoting the well-being of clients, maintaining a therapeutic environment, supporting clients to achieve independence.

Desired Skills and Experience
You must be an energetic person with a 'can do' attitude. Previous professional experience in the mental health field and experience of working with youth will be an advantage.
A level 4 or other relevant qualification in mental health is desirable but not essential. Otherwise, there is an expectation that you will be willing to start working towards obtaining a level 4 mental health qualification after your first year of employment.
