Working inside complex systems, you will inject innovation and disrupt the status quo of public policy and / or market failures.
To do this, we need to both demonstrate compelling alternatives and effectively communicate those results in ways that win hearts and minds, create a groundswell of support and influence decision-making.
In this role you will deliver and facilitate economic initiatives that build social, human, cultural, and financial capital that enables west Aucklanders to create socio-economic transformation for their communities.
You will demonstrate that a better economy, that is good for everyday people and the planet, is not just desirable but also possible.
He kōrero mōu : About youYou’ll have extensive experience of successfully manging and delivering complex, multi-disciplined and multi-sector projects / programmes that bring about positive disruption.
You will be focussed, persistent and able to work at pace to create quality opportunities that enable transformation. You will be known in the community as a social entrepreneur and / or a social change practitioner.
Experience in making a difference for Māori and Pacific communities will be a strong asset to have in this role.You will be comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, adept at providing strategic advice and influencing policy and practice at all levels, and at ease working with a diverse range of community and institutional stakeholders.
