Full time, part time, permanent, fixed term, or casual - you CHOOSE. We have positions available for RNs with recent surgical nursing experience, across our Surgical Inpatient Wards at MercyAscot

We have immediate vacancies for dynamic and motivated RNs to join our well established and supportive team. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be highly developed as they are integral to your success in providing the highest standard of care and support to our patients.

You'll also be supported to develop skills in other surgical specialities such as Orthopaedic, Plastics (Including flap reconstructive surgery), Urology and General Surgery.

The ability to work as part of the multidisciplinary team, along with developing positive and collaborative relationships are integral to this role.

This position will provide an exciting challenge for an RN who is looking to gain experience or a career in diversified nursing practice.

  • Key Requirements :

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • At least 2 years recent RN experience in an inpatient surgical environment
  • Proven passion for and desire to provide outstanding and holistic care to patients
  • A strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive energy, enthusiastic attitude, team focused
  • Availability to be rostered across all shifts i.e. mornings, afternoons and nights, across any day of the week
