    About the Opportunity :

    As a result of an exciting period of growth of our online banking business, we are seeking intermediate and senior Business Systems Analysts to join our Auckland office in a globally focused position.

    In this role you’ll be responsible for eliciting, analysing, and defining business needs and features, and translating them into requirements.

    You’ll then document and communicate the requirements to scrum agile teams (in a SAFe agile environment), and support them as they build and test solutions in release cycles.

    The release velocity is quarterly, so the BSA will be a key driver in the release definition and design and will be a significant contributor to customer success.

    Your responsibilities :

  • Requirements Elicitation and Analysis, including identifying stakeholders and facilitating discussions / workshops to elicit stakeholder needs, requirements, and priorities, and gaining acceptance of features, requirements, and vision
  • Product Design, including formulating and documenting functional specifications
  • Features and Requirements Traceability, including tracing requirements from project or feature vision through product delivery
  • Meeting Facilitation and support of Agile ceremonies
  • To be successful in this role you will bring :

  • Strong to extensive BA or BSA experience
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Ability to lead project team through requirements and release planning processes
  • Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills
  • Proven meeting facilitation skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, communications, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience working in a Scrum Agile team
  • Writing and working from User Stories
  • Utilising and executing functional test cases
  • Software development experience
  • Familiarity with online banking / electronic commerce field advantageous
  • Tools :

  • Backlog management tools (Jira experience preferred)
  • UML and BSA-commonly-used flowcharts and diagrams
  • MS Office tools
