We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person to join our Water and Wastewater team on a full time basis. This role involves the operation and maintenance of the Council's water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants and pump stations throughout the district.
Qualifications and experience in water and wastewater treatment is preferred however we will also consider applicants who are willing to undertake training and are passionate about establishing a career in the industry.
Our ideal applicant will be a hardworking, reliable, team player with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on health and safety.
Computer skills and the ability to understand data and draw appropriate conclusions is vital.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in an after hours standby roster and will need to hold a full drivers licence.
