Consents Development Liaison Officer

We're expanding and developing our Consents team, and we're looking for a stand-out person to join our Consents Administration team on a fixed term basis.
In this role you'll be responsible for providing administration and coordination support across multiple teams to assist our staff with development in our communities.
You'll coordinate a range of tasks between Council's engineering contractors and our Consents unit, particularly with our Land Development Engineering team.
You will also assist the team in the delivery of our subdivision 223 and 224 RMA services, as a customer liaison with some of our key developers.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within local government or a related field.
You'll have knowledge of the relevant legislation such as the Resource Management Act and you'll be a strong communicator.
We're looking for someone who is focused on providing exceptional customer service, has excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and enjoys a collaborative work environment.
