  • As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be providing clinical nursing leadership to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the Greenlane Surgical Unit.

    You will have line management responsibility for Senior Nurses including Charge Nurses, Nurse Specialists and Nurse Educators.

    You will collaborate with clinical experts who are dedicated and focused on providing quality health outcomes for our patients.

    Together with Service Clinical Directors and Business Managers, you will provide strategic and operational leadership as well as delivering on the organisation’s objectives, priorities and the nursing strategy.

    The Surgical Nursing Leadership team provides a collaborative and supportive environment for you to grow.

    As an ideal person for this role you will have :

  • Proven people leadership capability with a focus on professional and team development.
  • Ability to understand barriers to accessing service and achieving care equity for all patients
  • Financial and business management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive attitude towards improving Standards of Care
  • Excellent management and organisational ability
  • The ability to lead departmental change
