    The Marine Policy Team progresses exciting programmes to protect our oceans, including marine protected area legislative reform, creating new marine protection areas in the Hauraki Gulf, managing the new cross-government Oceans Secretariat, and advising on marine protection proposals and

    We are looking for bright and ambitious advisors and senior advisors, with a passion for providing high quality advice, to deliver new marine protection in the Hauraki Gulf and key strategic work in the Oceans Secretariat.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-priority policy issues with close Ministerial interest and deliver significant conservation benefits to

    You will have government policy experience, be delivery-focused, and ideally have previous experience in natural resources

    Your ability to work with and through others, both in and out of the department, will be critical in this role. You'll also need to think through policy problems clearly and impartially, and to communicate your advice in an accessible and compelling
