About the role
The purpose of the role of Policy Manager will be to manage a team of 6-8 staff - leading policy work on te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations, responses to review and inquiries and whānau-centred supports and advocacy.
The team is also responsible for policy work on international obligations, adoptions, housing as well as a Bill it is taking through the House.
In performing this role, the Policy Manager will develop and maximise the capability of the staff in their team. The Policy Manager will also have the professional support of Principal Analysts.
