    Mō te tūnga About the role

    Due to an internal progression, we have an exciting opportunity in our Feedback and Complaints Enabling Team. The purpose of this role is to support the Feedback and Complaints system through the provision of enabling functions such as reporting, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and the provision of advice regarding the feedback processes.

    As a key member of our team you will be pivotal in ensuing feedback providers feel their voice is being heard and the details of their feedback are being handled in a timely, respectful, and transparent manner.

    This is a varied and busy role where no two days are the same so you will be required to provide exceptional support in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

    You'll have a strong attention to detail, you'll be passionate about what you do, and be a self-starter with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

    You'll be able to collaborate with internal business units and external stakeholders; always keeping the feedback providers experience at the centre of what you do.

    Key requirements of the role include :

  • Proven exemplary relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas clearly and accurately.
  • Responsiveness to te ao Māori, tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi will be at the front of mind in all your work as will an understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns including Pacific peoples' culture.
  • Can adopt a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify systems and process improvement
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks, set and manage competing priorities
  • A sound working knowledge of the machinery of government including Oranga Tamariki Act 1989, the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014 and other relevant legislation would be a bonus.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or relevant equivalent experience is required
