In this role, you will partner with the business to provide support, leadership and continuous improvement of our health, safety and wellbeing initiatives with a specific focus on dealing with wellbeing issues across Council.
You will also play a significant role in the delivery of our Wellbeing Strategy aligned to our People and Culture overarching plan.
As our Senior Advisor, you will provide thought leadership that influences and coaches our managers & staff on good health, safety and well-being practices and to embrace change across a complex and exciting organisation.
Our ideal person will be highly organised, empathetic and proactive more so than reactive so you are able to plug any gaps for the delivery of an awesome wellbeing experience.
The successful candidate will take the results of our Health Safety and Wellbeing culture survey and using a targeted approach, develop ways to improve wellbeing outcomes for our people.
They will also be connected and understand global and national trends in best practice wellbeing and using a proactive approach, apply these to our initiatives.
You will be an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing professional with experience in developing, implementing and measuring wellbeing initiatives in a complex environment with experience in supporting the delivery of best-practice reporting and metrics.
What will really set you apart will be your strong interpersonal and relationship management skills which will make you the go to person for wellbeing needs across the organisation.
Most importantly, we're looking for a real belief that the health, safety and wellbeing of all our workers matters..!
