  • The Role;
  • Emerge Aotearoa is setting up a new community service based in the four ADHB Clinical Team Buildings (Manaaki, St Luke's, Taylor Centre and Cornwall House).

    We are looking for a Community Support Worker to provide social support to service users who do not currently have the support they need.

    You will work alongside clinical support staff to ensure that service users are well taken care of. This includes connecting service users with relevant community services and acting as a resource to the clinical teams to provide advise regarding social support options.

    This is a great opportunity to work alongside clinical experts, help people connect with their communities and achieve their goals.

    This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Work hours are Monday - Friday, between 8.00am - 6.00pm.

  • What you need;
  • Have a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Mental Health & Addiction (preferred)
  • Must have a Full New Zealand Driver's License
  • Be culturally respectful and non-judgemental
  • See potential in people and thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
  • Have strong professional boundaries
  • Have the ability to easily build professional relationships with our tangata whaiora
  • Be able to use IT systems confidently
