We are always on the lookout for talented people to join us, so we thought, why not create an opportunity for students to gain some real work experience before they graduate?
So, we are looking for a number of students in Auckland who are heading into their last year of study, who would like to work with us over the holidays, with the possibility of staying on with us as an Intern through 2019.
As you can imagine, the lead up to Christmas is very busy for us, so initially you’ll work closely with our sales team as a Merchandiser, as we partner with our retail customers to deliver fantastic in-
store execution. And then there will be the opportunity for some of you to work at head office through 2019 and learn more about this market leading organisation we know and love.
Let’s be honest, merchandising isn’t the most glamorous role, it requires early morning starts and getting your hands dirty as you build displays and stock shelves.
But along the way you’ll gain fantastic exposure to the business and the FMCG industry as you learn the ropes from our passionate team.
Not only will you learn a lot with great training and support, this will be a fantastic addition to your CV and the references could be that point of difference as you begin your career.
You’ll have heaps of fun along the way and of course there’s the chocolate!
Do you have what it takes?
Mondelēz is looking for outstanding individuals : our future leaders; people who can demonstrate great communication skills, a team-
player attitude and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and tasks. You’ll need to be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment so being proactive and taking initiative are key requirements for this role.
The fine print :
You need to be available to work 30-40 hours per week from mid-November through December, and then casually through January and February.
Ongoing work through 2019 may also be available. Typically you’ll be required to work Monday Friday but occasionally Sunday nights may be required.
A restricted driver’s license is a minimum, and you’ll need to have a car available to use.
We’re passionate about our brands, our customers and we care about your development as much as you do who knows where a career at Mondelēz could take you?
If you think this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you! Please provide us with a CV, a cover letter, and an unofficial transcript of your completed papers.
You will need to have NZ citizenship or permanent residency at the time of application.
Recruitment Agencies we appreciate the interest but we've got this one covered. Thanks!
