Administration Lead
As the Administration Leader you will provide administrative support to all staff members in the Health and Disability office team.
You are often the first point of contact for our clients and customers, so your personable and professional communication skills will be in use daily.
Your role is varied and dynamic covering all aspects of administrative and reception duties.
WHO YOU REPORT TO
You report to the Business Support Manager in the Health & Disability Service.
WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Administrative expertise : Maintaining oversight of admin processes and projects, and providing advice on quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative support of key processes involving clients, employees and internal and external partners.Ensuring that all incoming enquiries / calls are managed in a timely and professional manner, as well as the infrastructure and systems to enable this to be best practice.
Provide direct administrative support to the Service Manager.
Logistical and Training Support : Ordering office supplies to maintain optimal stock levels, while keeping to budget.Liaison with IT for support queries relating to CareCall and Community Support Workers’ phones.
Assist with planning and liaison with any external training providers.
Leadership : Leading, coaching, and facilitating the learning and professional development of the Admin function, providing timely and direct feedback.
Lead by example role-model the required character, professionalism, and skill in an environment of constant pursuit of excellence.
WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role involving front line reception duties.
Excellent computer skills including experience using client management systems.
Outstanding communication skills when dealing with people who may experience communication difficulties, preferred prior experience with de-escalation techniques.
A demonstrated commitment to enabling disabled and older persons to live good lives based on their cultural and personal preferences and aspirations.
