An exciting opportunity is available for you to utilise your project management skills, and knowledge and experience within the Construction industry to be involved with an organisation that has a strong focus on making a difference in our Tauranga community.

As the Assets and Maintenance Manager , you will be responsible for :

  • Strategic planning of assets management and maintenance
  • Negotiating and overseeing Maintenance contracts
  • Developing and leading maintenance renewal programs
  • Coordination of maintenance activity with tenancy operations
  • Management of financial resources with a focus on best value
  • Lead, support and manage the Maintenance Advisor

    Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Building Science; Property / Facilities Management), and / or relevant experience (i.e. Quantity Surveyor)
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant housing portfolios
  • Construction, building, and contracts knowledge
  • Previous experience designing and delivering strategic asset management plans
  • Project Management experience within multi-year projects
  • Forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting skills
  • PGDip Construction with FM specialisation, PRINCE 2, or Membership with FMANZ would be highly regarded, but not essential.
