Aboutthe Opportunity

This is a fantastic development opportunityfor a marketing professional looking for exposure to the full marketing mix, frombrand strategy to execution.

This role will work alongside the Senior BrandManager on the Tip Top bakery portfolio, a brand much loved by New Zealandfamilies.

Primarily responsible for supportingthe Senior Brand Manager in developing and implementing profitable andsuccessful marketing strategies and plans for the Tip Top bakery portfolio,there is also the opportunity for this role to take ownership of part of theportfolio.


  • Support the Senior Brand Manager indelivering against the strategic direction for the Tip Top portfolio, developingand executing the brand plans, optimising brand positioning and rangearchitecture to achieve business objectives.
  • Taking ownership of an agreed sectionof the Tip Top portfolio, developing, and executing plans to achieveobjectives.
  • Take ownership to manage specific,smaller projects across the portfolio including, but not limited to, newproduct development, packaging, sampling, communications.
  • Undertake analysis and reporting ofkey metrics from multiple data sources, to provide insight to the business withregards to the Tip Top portfolio.
  • Aboutyou

  • 2+ years’ experience in a relevantrole. You might be a MarketingAssistant, ready to step up, or an Assistant Brand / Product Manager looking foran awesome development opportunity with exposure to the full marketing mix, ora move into FMCG.
  • FMCG experience is an advantage.
  • You’ll have some Financialunderstanding basic P&L, managing budgets
  • You can demonstrate how you use your initiative and persistence, and your ability to think outside the square.
  • You’ll be action and results oriented and able to manage your own performance.
  • Your numeracy and literacy skills are second to none, with excellent analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills, quickly building strong relationship across the business and with our external agencies.
  • You’re a team player with the ability to work, collaborate and thrive in a team.
