Join us :

We’re seeking full time Customer Service Officers to join the Kathmandu team based at our Christchurch Support Office. In this role you will be handling an array of contacts from online and phone channels, staying busy processing orders, providing excellent customer service and promoting sales, offering administration and service support to our store network and the rest of the business.

We can’t wait to meet you! To be successful you will have :

  • The ability to perform well in a self-directed and fast-paced environment, stay enthusiastic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude, particularly under pressure
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer contact environment, preferably retail and / or online
  • Experience with e-commerce ordering processes, including RMA / returns and using 3rd-party platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills and high energy levels
  • A good level of proficiency with systems, including MS Office and web-based applications
  • Conflict resolution, problem solving and interpersonal skills with an ability to look at the big picture
  • A genuine passion for the outdoors, Kathmandu customers, our products and our brand
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Be available to work full time on a shift roster between the hours of 8am-10pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Experience with live chat and providing customer support through social networking is also desirable
