About the Role As a Project Manager at Hick Bros, you’ll be responsible for running projects within the land development space from start to finish.
You’ll be working as part of a high level, elite team of people who are experts at what they do, on some of the most high profile projects around Auckland.
Your role will include the following : Manage the project team to ensure the project is delivered on time, to budget, health, safety, quality and environmental requirements Managing the programme, reporting on progress, productivities and financials Interpret and advise on designs, project plans, and controls Budget, schedule and plan project works Coordinate and implement technical standards Develop, review and / or monitor engineering deliverables and manage technical issues appropriately Responsible for all aspects of Project Management Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, service providers and local authorities This role will give you exposure to complex earthworks projects in the land development space that will include end-to-end residential subdivision work where you can take the project from earthworks to silt control, geo-tech, utilities, drainage, roading and landscaping.
About You We’re after an experienced project manager with a proven background in bulk earthworks or civil construction. To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following : Minimum of 5 years project experience in bulk earthworks or civil infrastructure Strong management, leadership and communication skills Experience in dealing with clients, consultant engineers, and council inspection staff Tertiary qualification (BEng, DipEng or equivalent) Ability to communicate effectively with in-house staff, subcontractors and service providers Sound knowledge of H&S, Quality and Environmental requirements in relation to civil construction works
