Rentokil Initial has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager to join our business to lead the Greater Auckland and Northland teams across Rentokil Pest Control, Initial Hygiene and Ambius Indoor Plants.
This experienced individual will be responsible for driving business performance based from our Auckland location. In this role you will take responsibility for acquiring new business opportunities, maximising opportunities in existing customers and working in collaboration with national and regional teams to deliver excellent service to our customers.
The objective of the role is to build and deliver Company, Regional and Category sales and profit growth, by providing consistent & excellent customer service.
You will succeed in this role by leading and creating a highly engaged & enabled team of experienced colleagues.
This role will join the NZ & Fiji senior leadership team actively contributing to the overall strategy, planning and delivery of Rentokil Initial's business goals and targets.
Your role will include (but not be limited to) :
Positively lead your team across Service, Sales & Customer Service living and demonstrating our values of Service, Relationship & Teamwork
In conjunction with the Sales and National Accounts team develop new business opportunities across the business categories of Pest, Hygiene, Ambius.
Develop and implement strategies across your region that maximises the strong local and global innovation programme.
Set, lead and deliver against market driven and customer specific sales and service strategies for your regional teams
Developing, strengthening and reinforcing strategic business relationships with key decision makers, both internally & externally
Monitoring and evaluating competitor products and activities.
Ensure your team continue to meet and exceed sales and service standards on a monthly and quarterly basis
To be successful in this role you will have :
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
Proven business development ability and manage complex customer relationships
Ability to develop positive colleague relationships and ensure a focus on our proactive health & safety culture with employees and clients
Minimum of 7 years' experience preferably working within a service industry (logistics or cleaning preferred)
Ability to proactively prioritise and allocate resources to deliver against multiple KPIs managing the tension between colleague investment, sales & profitability.
Financial awareness and ability to manage a P & L, balance sheet, annual budget and forecasting for the region
Monitor & report performance and deliver actions against business targets
Effective use of IT, Google Documents, and Google suite of products
Ability to control projects, identify and mitigate risk to deliver successful outcomes
Ability to present effect presentations and produce proposals and tender responses
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
High level commercial and negotiation skills
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop and convert new business opportunities
Desirable : minimum of 5 years Account Management / Regional Management experience.
