We're excited to be assisting a government agency with the recruitment of a Strategic Comms Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role will be joining a dynamic, CBD based team.
Key responsibilities include :
Support the development and delivery of the external Communications Strategy
Develop and implement frameworks, tools and systems to enable effective communications
Strategically guide, influence and provide communications advice and training for business-wide strategic plans, activities and initiatives
Oversee all external communication initiatives
Crisis management communications response
The successful candidate willl :
Demonstrated experience working in a senior Communications role
Experience in developing and implementing communications strategies and plans
ideally) A sound understanding of local government and (definitely) experience working effectively within a political environment
Proven ability to think strategically, understand issues within a wider business context
Experience in delivering long-term communications strategies
Experience managing and negotiating with a range of (senior) internal and external
Crisis or issues management experience.
