    The Enterprise Design & Integrity group at Inland Revenue is responsible for the services that provide advice, guidance, and direction to ensure IR’s strategic intent is followed.

    Within that group is the Governance, Ministerial & Executive Services team, and this is where you will make your mark as a business administrator.

    The Governance and Ministerial Services team are responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to Minister of Revenue’s office, responses to Official Information Act requests and advising and supporting IR’s Executive Level Governance.

    The opportunity

    This is your opportunity to continue to innovate and challenge yourself within Inland Revenue. You’ll be responsible for organising the day to day activities for the team and its leader, including diary management and correspondence management as well as producing, coordinating, and distributing information and documents in a tailored format to support delivery of better business outcomes.

    Building highly effective relationships with the team and other key stakeholders to support the work of your team is paramount to your success in this role.

    You will be coordinating with the Business Support administrators and other PAs across the Inland Revenue, booking and setting up meetings as well as supporting the team with required administration activities.

    About you

    To succeed in this role, you will ideally have :

  • previous experience in a business administration role
  • solid experience with Microsoft products and the ability to easily learn other technology
  • initiative and the confidence to deal with situations that require you to roll up your sleeves
  • discretion and trustworthiness with sensitive information
  • the ability to build effective relationships with internal / external stakeholders
